As a mom myself I know how imperative is to keep your sweet children happy and entertained during your family trips.

If you are in Lima with a young family here I give you some tips to get a beautiful holiday and not die in the attempt.

Go to a nice children play! Yes , we have great theatres for them in Miraflores district, my favorite is  “Teatro Julieta” prices under 10 USD per person. A great treat for them.

A ride in scooter at the Malecon of Miraflores, a great option the burn some energy out before bed time. The site is a complex of parks and gardens located by the cliff of Miraflores, this zone is perfectly safe day and night, the view is gorgeous and even romantic.

Something for the night?, no problem…go to the “Magic Circuit of Water” home of a Guiness Record and one of the most beautiful green areas of Lima, a unique night show for kids of all ages, from 1 to 80 , opened from 4 to 10 pm Tuesdays to Sundays.

What about going to the zoo? A classic entertainment for all the family,  learn about the endemic animals to Peru. The Zoo of San Miguel District “Parque de las leyendas” is the best option if you are hosted in Miraflores or San Isidro. *Restaurants and snacks everywhere in the park, although I recommend to take your own with you.

Maybe a walk to the playground at the Kennedy park will be more suiting for your little one,  if your hotel is in Miraflores district you will find this place almost around the corner. This is a great option if you travel with toddlers.

A walk on the beach is for sure hours of entertainment , the best things are for free.
