Best Churros in Miraflores – Manolo

It is true that churros are popular everywhere in Lima (don’t know yet what is a CHURRO? click here to read more about it), but if you just have one chance to try it, do it the right way and come to Manolo, they are specialized in churros and monster sandwiches (they are really big,…

Isolina Restaurant, Authentic Grandma’s Flavor

This restaurant brought to me so many good memories, the food is extremely good, the servings are huge (grandma style) the flavor was authentic. This is a place where you can try the real thing, not gourmet… this is pure flavor. Marek waiting on the cocktails My favorite is the Sancochado, it reminded me of…

Cute Little Port, “El Chaco” in Paracas, Perú.

The main activity for the local small community is tourism, and they do it really well, every time I go to visit there is something new, more restaurants, bars, hotels, and stores… all of them of great quality and for all budgets. This is the official start for the bestseller local tours: Ballestas Islands and…

A Must-stop in Ica – El Catador Winery and Restaurant

I come here often with my tour groups and Can’t get bored of this place, is simply fantastic and a great bust for the long way in between Lima and any other destination in the south, local tour guides are great and knowledgeable, and the wine and Pisco are really good (specially if you like sweet wine) , tour and tasting is for free! The circuit takes about 20 minutes, make sure to order your food before starting to have it ready at the end of the visit. I actually like a lot the sweet wines from this place and their Baileys like drinks made of local fruits. Highly recommended.
